Problem

Maisam Steel Mill, Afghanistan's first IEC/ISO 9001:2015 and IEC/ISO 45001:2018 certified steel manufacturer, produces up to 336 metric tons daily — including rebar, angles, and T-bars. With over 200 employees and plans to expand into I-beams and H-beams, their manual production tracking and paper-based quality management couldn't maintain ISO compliance at scale or provide the operational visibility needed for growth.

Approach

We analyzed MSM's production floor operations, quality control checkpoints, raw material procurement, and ISO compliance documentation requirements. The solution was designed to integrate manufacturing execution with financial controls and quality management.

Solution

Deployed Odoo Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, and Quality modules. Built custom work order flows for rebar, angle, and T-bar production lines, integrated raw material consumption tracking, automated ISO quality checkpoints, and connected everything to real-time production dashboards showing output, waste, and efficiency metrics.
